Instructions

The durability and excellent ink refill of the NarwhalCo SMALL Pen are well known.  Here are the instructions on how to change the refill.

1. Pull the top portion (lid) off of the pen.  Grasp the bottom half (base) of the pen, and pull the top off.  Avoid pulling on the clip as it will stress under the force and could break off.  The top of the pen is secured by friction, so pulling on the body forcefully will NOT damage the pen.
2. Once the top is off, you will see the top of the ink cartridge, it is white in color.  Twist it counter-clockwise (left) until the cartridge is free from the pen.  Remove it from the base.
3. Take the new ink refill cartridge, insert it into the base of the pen from the top, screw it in clock-wise (right) until it is tight.
4. Insert the top portion of the pen over the cartridge, sliding it over the base, pushing down securely until it meets the base and is closed.
